A boutique vineyard nestled in the hills of Los Gatos, California.
We produce a unique, high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from our estate.
Nestled on the Eastern slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains having the perfect terroir for growing Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The vineyard is planted on two hillsides, each having a different soil profile; one side consists of crushed shale, and the other of fertile soil. A slope of 35 degrees and South-Western exposure ensures that every vine has a consistent sun exposure and maximum airflow. The unique microclimate with sunny days leads to higher levels of maturation, while the cool nights allow the grapes to retain acidity and balance.
In 2011, we planted two French clones recently introduced to the US. The clones are low-yielding yet produce high-quality, well-balanced grapes with good berry size and a well-balanced acid-to-sugar ratio, creating deeply colored wines with extraordinary complexity.
